Enjoy the Winter Months with Adaptive Skiing

In 1942, Franz Wendel, a World War II veteran and leg amputee, strapped makeshift crutches to a pair of short skis in order to hit the slopes. His determination became an inspiration to many other disabled individuals who desired the thrill of skiing.
