In this month’s feature article, we take a look at the concerns and reservations that we see people have about making the decision to purchase a mobility product. We also examine the questions that individuals should be asking to help determine their needs and find the mobility product(s) that will work best for them. We take a look at the newest addition to the line of vehicles available with wheelchair accessibility: the Volkswagen Routan. In this month’s feature, we take a look at how unoccupied wheelchair/scooter lifts help people who have the ability to transfer from a wheelchair/scooter to a vehicle seat transport their mobility device with them, thus enhancing their freedom and independence. Our new feature “Solution Spotlight” outlines how we added a demo Joey lift and a Toyota Lift-Up seat to a pre-owned 2005 Toyota Sienna to create a unique, cost-efficient mobility solution. In our Performance Reminder, we highlight how keeping your wheelchair tie-down tracks clean and clear of road de-icing products used during the winter can prevent corrosion and costly repairs.
