Turning Automotive Seating™ are a unique type of assistive seating made exclusively by Bruno. Various TAS models can shift, turn, come out of the vehicle and raise and lower the occupant.

Turny™ / Turny™ Orbit

Model TAS-2560/2560E

The Turny™ is an automotive seating option that rotates, comes out of the vehicle and lowers towards the ground for an easier entrance. The seat has a user weight capacity of 350 lbs. and comes in both a manual and automatic rotation. On safety, the Turny™ meets and/or exceeds all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The Turny™ does not change the structure of the vehicle, therefore does not affect its resale. The Turny™ brings the seat to you and makes entering and exiting a vehicle simple.

Lift-Up® Seat

Model TAS-5001/5201

The Lift-Up® seat model is specifically made for Toyota Sienna minivans, 2004 and newer. The seat is fully-powered and at a touch of a button rotates, comes out of the minivan and lowers to the ground. The seat is available in the front-right and mid-right vehicle positions and holds up to 330 lbs. The Lift-Up® seat is under a three-year warranty and can even be financed through Toyota Financial Services.

Compact Lift-Up® Seat

Model TAS-5301

The Compact Lift-Up® seat is made for select vehicles to aid in entering and exiting. The seat rotates, automatically reclines to provide extra head clearance as it comes out of the vehicle and lowers towards the ground, all at the touch of a button. Currently the Lift-Up® is available in the Toyota RAV4/Highlander/Venza, in the Lexus RX 350/400h, the Ford Escape, the Mercury Mariner and the Mazda Tribute. The Compact Lift-Up® seat has a lift capacity of 330 lbs and meets or exceeds all applicable Federal Motor Safety Vehicles.

Stow-Away

Model TAS-1850

The Stow-Away was made specifically for trucks and higher SUVs. The Stow-Away hides away underneath the vehicle for discrete accessibility. When needed, the Stow-Away lifts you to the appropriate height for an easy transfer. The seat can hold up to 300 lbs. and preserves all factory seat functions such as reclining, heat/cool etc. No truck or SUV is too high with Stow-Away seating.

Turnout®

Model TAS-2400/2400E

The Turnout® turning automotive seat is for people who need help getting into lower vehicles. The seat rotates out over the doorsill and then rotates for convince. Once seated, the Turnout® rotates back into the vehicle and you are ready to go! The Turnout® comes in both manual and power options; so that you can decide the best option for your accessible needs as well as your wallet. Both options have an occupant capacity of 450 lbs and can be transferred to another vehicle in the future.

Carony™ Transportation System

The Carony™ Transportation System takes accessibility to the next level. The Carony™ transforms an automotive seat into a wheelchair, therefore there is no lifting during transfer to and from the vehicle. The user can rotate from the vehicle to a 12″ or 24″ wheelbase, while being seated the entire time. The Carony™ operates in conjunction with the Turny™ or Turnout® seating options by attaching to the bottom of the seat. The Carony™ is safe, tested to or above Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and holds up to 220 lbs in occupant weight capacity. It’s another great mobility solution from Bruno!
