VCI Mobility was on hand on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the 2011 Senior Living Expo, sponsored by State Representative Warren Kampf at the Tredyffrin Township Building in Berwyn, PA. The goal of the event was to be a one-stop information source for senior citizens and their families and caregivers.
2011 Global Abilities Rec Fest

VCI Mobility will be an exhibitor at the 2011 Global Abilities Rec Fest, being held on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Carousel House in Philadelphia, PA. The Global Abilities Foundation (GAF) works to create a more inclusive world for individuals with disabilities. GAF holds disability awareness events, helps companies create disability initiatives to cater to a more diverse workforce and customer base, and helps disabled individuals gain the resources and motivation to become fully integrated into their communities.
In an effort to raise money for organizations providing services for the disabled community, the Rec Fest will be an opportunity for the demonstration of numerous adapted sports (i.e., SCUBA diving, wheelchair basketball, martial arts, and dancing) for adults and children with physical and/or development disabilities. In addition, table displays will share information on adapted flying, surfing, art and rowing, and more. For more information on the GAF, please visit their website.
2011 Bike MS: City to Shore Ride

VCI Mobility will have a team of cyclists participating in the 2011 Bike MS: City to Shore Ride, being held on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25, 2011. The ride covers the area between Hammonton, NJ, and Ocean City, NJ. The VCI Mobility team of cyclists will be joining nearly 7,000 other riders of all ages and cycling abilities to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. Council on Brain Injury: David’s Drive Golf Tournament

On Tuesday, October 4, 2011, VCI Mobility will be on hand at the 5th Annual Council on Brain Injury’s (COBI) David’s Drive Golf Tournament, being held at the White Manor Country Club in Malvern, PA. VCI will be the official Disability Golf Clinic Sponsor at the tournament.
COBI works to fulfill the goals of Dr. David Strauss, a neuropsychologist and founding partner of ReMed, who dedicated his professional life to working with people with acquired brain injury. For more information, please visit the COBI website.
